Forney ISD will celebrate the Grand Opening of The Keith Bell Opportunity Central on Friday, February 2, with performances by Emerald City Band and various student performing groups. The evening will include an open house, ceremonial ribbon cutting and dedication for The OC namesake, former Forney ISD Trustee and Texas State Representative Keith Bell, and the concert. Thousands of people are expected to come and see this remarkable, first-of-its-kind campus and the opportunities it brings for career development and training, higher education certifications and degrees, and the social and economic impact of shops, eateries, event space and services available to the public. Below is a schedule of events and ticket information.

Schedule of Events 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Open House

Come see and explore the partner retail shops, and other studentoperated businesses open to the public. In addition, get a taste of the eateries and the well-known White Rhino Coffee. Prepare to take pictures with family and friends throughout the facility.

5 p.m.- 6 p.m.

Guests are invited to join the ceremonial ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for The OC namesake, Texas State Representative Keith Bell. This event will be held in The OC Theater.

6 p.m.

The 7,500-seat Arena will open for guests with tickets to enjoy the greatest celebration in Forney, Texas history.

7 p.m. Let’s Groove!

Guests will celebrate this momentous occasion with various student performing groups and the well-known Emerald City Band will take the stage in a high energy production with lights, sound and video.

Tickets for the concert must be purchased in advance for $5 each at www.theoc.net. (Children under the age of 3 get in free.)
