Forney High Lady Rabbit Soccer traveled to Celina to compete in the Bobcat Winter Classic Jan. 4-6th. The tournament included several highly ranked high school teams including the 2023 4A state champ Celina and 5A state champ Grapevine.
The Lady Rabbits ended the weekend 2-1. Only allowing 2 goals all weekend and scoring 9, Forney High won vs. Grapevine 4-0 and 5-1 vs. Melissa with a 1-0 loss to Lovejoy 1-0 on a penalty kick. The girls had a good weekend of soccer and will face North Mesquite on Tuesday in a preseason game.
