The Forney High School “FIGHT SONG” Revisited

The Forney “FIGHT SONG” was also printed in the 1964 Jackrabbit Annual. It was supposed to be sung to the tune of “Hey, Look Me Over.”

Hey, we’re from Forney... Give us a cheer…Show all (name of visiting team’s mascot)…The Rabbit Team is here…We’ll grab the football…Go down to score…Watch the colors of gold and black…We’re going to bring a victory back…So, up to the top, boys…Score after score… We’ll make a touchdown… Hear the mighty roar… And we’ll all stand up in the stadium…and cheer for the Gold and Black…Hey, there, Rabbit Team, Fight, Fight, Fight!
