Kaufman County Sheriff, Bryan Beavers had his reelection campaign kick off last week. Sheriff Beavers is announcing his candidacy for Re-Election in the March 2024 Primary. Beavers is a 4th generation, lifelong Kaufman County resident and has been a Texas Police officer for 29 years starting as a Detention Officer, Dispatcher, Jail Administrator, Deputy, Lieutenant, Chief Deputy and your current Sheriff for the past 7 years.

Over 300 constituents and many Kaufman County elected officials were in attendance to show their support for Sheriff Beavers. State Representative, Keith Bell spoke of his great working relationship with Sheriff Beavers as well as Criminal District Attorney, Erleigh Wiley who stated that the working relationship with the Sheriff’s Office is better now than anytime she can remember and that she proudly endorses Bryan to continue as Kaufman County Sheriff. Wise County Sheriff, Mr. Lane Akin was also in attendance and spoke about qualities it takes to be a Texas Sheriff and stated that Bryan met those qualifications and was as fine of a Sheriff that he had ever seen. Sheriff Beavers concluded the event by ensuring supporters that he would continue to work hard for them and that their safety was a top priority to him. Sheriff Beavers spoke highly of the men and women at the Sheriff’s Office and thanked them for continuing to work hard despite the unprecedented growth that our county is seeing.
