Tom Thumb Is Breaking Ground On New Store In Forney

On Friday, June 30, 2023, at 8 am Tom Thumb and Malouf Interests will break ground on a new groceryanchored development located at 435 S. FM 548, Forney, TX 75126. Attendance for the ceremony will include City of Forney elected officials and staff, Tom Thumb leadership, Malouf Interests Inc. leadership, and representatives from the local communities.

AND also on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10am Tom Thumb and Horton TX LLC will break ground on a new grocery-anchored development located at 180 E North Grove Blvd., Waxahachie, TX 75165. Attendance for the ceremony will include City of Waxahachie elected officials and staff, Tom Thumb leadership, Horton TX LLC leadership, and representatives from the local communities.

Tom Thumb will begin building their 60,000 square foot store with everything grocery shoppers need to fill their pantries and host their events! The new Tom Thumb will include a fully stocked center store and the fresh departments Tom Thumb customers know and love including Bakery, Deli, Meat & Seafood, Produce, and Floral. The store will also include an in-store Starbucks coffee kiosk, a Pharmacy including a drive-thru, and Drive-Up-NGoTM grocery pick-up. The estimated opening of the store is Summer 2024.

With the area’s explosive growth, Tom Thumb is a welcome and much needed amenity for this neighborhood of Forney.”

Both events will include remarks followed by ceremonial photographs. In honor of the groundbreaking, Tom Thumb will also make donations to local community organizations.
