The Layden Senior Citizens Center of Forney is located at 101 Main Street in City Hall, open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You may enter at the front or through Handicap accessible doors, located at the back of City Hall. Reserved parking for seniors is available 9:00-2:00.
The center is a non-profit organization so we work on donations and all are greatly appreciated.
As always, much gratitude for our ongoing donors: Panera Bread, Papa John’s Pizza, Smurfit Kappa, and our Bingo sponsors: Alinea Hospice, Cheyenne Medical Lodge, Empower, Rely On Credit Union, and Oak Street Health. Please frequent these generous businesses whenever possible.
Thanks to our creative Director, Dena, there are always fun activities happening at the Center. In addition, this week we had a monthly Site Council meeting on Tuesday, 6/6, and Inspirational speaker on Wednesday, 6/7.
Next week, on Wednesday, June 14, will be our Covered Dish luncheon. The Center will provide delicious fried chicken, and we always enjoy wonderful side dishes and desserts provided by our patrons.
