VLADIMIR PUTIN (70 years): “Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin”—Russian politician and former intelligence officer, who is probably most famous, or infamous, as current President of Russia; has been either Prime Minister or President of Russia since 1999.
HARRISON FORD (80 years): American actor and “cultural icon” (in the eyes of many), who probably got his “big break” when cast as “Bob Falfa” in American Graffiti in 1973; then really became a world-wide star as “Hans Solo” in Star Wars (1977) and sequels. He is also very familiar as the character, “Indiana Jones,” in related films from 1981 and on.
WILLIE NELSON (90 years): “Willie Hugh Nelson”— American (Texas) singer, songwriter, musician, and actor, who probably best represents the “country outlaw (midto- late ‘60s) anti-establishment” performer and penned many hit songs (“Funny How Time Slips Away”—“Crazy”—“Hello Walls”) for other musicians and himself; famous for performing songs, such as “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain”—“Mamas Don’t Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys”—“Pancho and Lefty”—“Always On My Mind” and I am out of space and time……Thanks for reading and “waxing nostalgic.”
