The E! Terrell Entertainment Series concludes this year’s highly successful 20th anniversary concert season with the renowned Side Street Strutters at the Jamie Foxx Performing Arts Center at 7:30 pm on April 27th.

Celebrating more than 100 years of American jazz, this popular 8-piece ensemble brings their own 40th anniversary show entitled “Swingin’ & Singin” to the E! Terrell stage with a potpourri of jazz, pop, and R&B melodies that have shaped the country’s musical landscape over the years.

Fronting the band is Mel Collins, whose talents as an entertainer and master musician, include engaging audiences with amusing anecdotes and historical popular music repartee. Collins is truly the consummate emcee for this show.

As well as songs that inspired entire generations, lyrics that reflected particular times in our history, and melodies that have shaped the entertainment industry, the Strutters delight audiences in a variety of ways, including the trumpet player who can tap dance while simultaneously playing his instrument.

This concert event is also highlighted by E! Terrell’s subscription sales campaign. A brief pre-show video will be shown introducing next year’s roster of performing artists showcasing their talents for the upcoming 20232024 season.
