And additionally, Kendall searched and found some photos of the original museum, located in the “ upstairs” of City Hall. The photos are as follow: (1) Sarah Pinson Harp speakmore ing to school children and the Grand Opening and including (2) Jamie Laywell, unidentified woman, unidentified man at microphone, Charles Whitaker, Weldon Bowen, Sarah Pin-son Harp, Mick Spellman, Don T. Cates — (3) & (4) Boy Scouts leading the Pledge to the Flag—(5) Sarah Harp, Mick Spellman, Don T. Cates.
And then she found some photos—the F. H. S. Choir, the F. H. S. Band, a visiting school group—and a group that includes some original Board Members (Choose from list below!) and Mr. Spellman, plus “mother-daughter” helpers, Casey and Tracy Drane.
Original Board Members were Sarah Pinson Harp (chairperson), J. C. Owens (vice-chairperson), Donna Hervey (secrearound tary/treasurer), Howard Blackburn, Sharon Bowen, Roger Carter, Jerry Flook, Betty Hatley, Randall Martin, Peggy Mason, Sally Owens, Jim Smith, Kathy Stephens.
