The Forney Chamber of Commerce will host their 35th Annual Civic Auction & Casino Night on Saturday, April 29 at The Venue at Rusted Rail Golf Club in Crandall. This year’s theme is “Building Something Special,” a nod to the efforts of the Chamber’s new executive director and board of directors to grow partnerships and offer local businesses more opportunities to connect with potential clients and promote their businesses.
The Chamber fundraising event is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with 300+ local business owners and community members. The evening will feature dinner, a live DJ, casino games, raffle drawings, a silent auction and live auction.
“I am so excited to be able to continue this 35 year Forney Chamber of Commerce tradition,” said Meg Adams, Forney Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. “Per our auction theme this year, we are truly ‘Building Something Special’...this night is going to be so lively and fun, so I hope everyone is able to join us!”
Proceeds from this year’s event will go to support the Forney Education Foundation, as well as the Chamber’s community and business development budget. Tickets are $40 each, which includes dinner, drink tickets, and $500 in casino cash. You can purchase tickets online at https://muradbid. com/tickets/fcc/tix.
Event goers can have a shot at one of the live auction items with the purchase of a Golden Ticket. Golden tickets are $100 and there will only be 100 sold. The winner will get their choice of one of the live auction items before they go up for bid, meaning they could end up paying only $100 for something worth thousands. Some of the live auction items up for grabs this year include a designer handbag, trip, grill, safari, furniture, and more! You can purchase your ticket in advance to ensure you have an opportunity to win. Purchase golden tickets online at https://muradbid.com/ tickets/fcc/tix.
