The Layden Senior Citizens Center of Forney would like to welcome you at 101 Main Street in City Hall, open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please enter the front or through Handicap accessible doors located at the back of City Hall, where reserved parking for seniors is also available.
The center is extremely grateful for the following generous donors: Panera Bread, Papa John’s Pizza, Smurfit Kappa, and our Bingo sponsors: Alinea Hospice, Cheyenne Medical Lodge, Empower, Rely On Credit Union, and Oak Street Health, each of whom contribute much appreciated weekly prizes. We invite you to frequent them whenever you can.
There is always something for everyone usually happening at the Center, including last week when we celebrated Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) with beads and beautiful masks worn by many. We enjoyed a gorgeous king cake, and congrats to Margie for finding the baby.
Happy March birthdays to Mark Rodgers, Julia Ewell, Mary Robertson, Barbara Austin, Mary Thayer, Alice Redpath, Patsy Martin, Larry Martinez, and our illustrious Director, Dena!
