As we enter the holiday season, Forney ISD has once again partnered with the Forney Lions Club for their annual Angel Tree program to provide Christmas surprises for over 1,200 children in our community. We wanted to share information about how you can help our community during this season of giving.

How can we adopt Angels, and when will angels be assigned?

You can adopt angels 1 of 2 ways:

Stop by the Lions Club table at Christmas on Main on Saturday, December 3 from noon-5 p.m. in downtown Forney and select an angel.

OR Complete the form here (https:// bit.ly/2022AngelTree) to adopt, wait for an email with your angel info, and then pick-up your angel card at the Forney ISD admin building (600 S. Bois D’Arc) during business hours.

What should I purchase for my angel?

Adopters spend an average of $100-$150 per child. We ask that you purchase at least one wish for the child and one outfit or other needed clothing items.

When do I drop off the gifts?

Each angel card will have a specific assigned drop off date of either December 12 or 14 at the Forney Learning Academy (309 S. Bois D’Arc) with various times to drop on that day (7-8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., or 5-7 p.m.) We ask that you do not wrap gifts. Please place the wrapped gifts in a large black trash bag and attach the angel card to the bag.
