Willie Earl “Bill” Alexander was born here in Forney, Texas on January 12, 1938. He was the third child of eight children born to the parents of Young Alexander Sr. and Callie Alexander. Willie’s family are long time members of the Forney community through several generations. He passed away on October 12, 2022 at the age of 84 surrounded by his loved ones.

Willie attended Booker T. Washington School here in Forney. Willie was employed by Ford Paint and Body and was a faithful employee until he sustained a back injury. Willie would recover from his injury and set his sights on many business ventures in his community.

Aside from working his many business ventures, and watching westerns, Willie loved gatherings with his family and friends in which he was definitely a presence at them all. Willie is survived by his sisters, Shirley Mays (Edward) , Myrtle Alexander, and Helen Williams all of Forney, Texas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Willie be held on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 12pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Forney, Texas. Viewing will start at 10am.
