The minute the Falcons arrived at City Bank Stadium you could tell the team was focused. Senior night was canceled and weather was questionable for an on time start, but the Falcons stayed focused.
The Falcons took the opening drive down the field behind some tough running by #5 DJ Jones, who would lead all rushers with 133 yards on 18 carries, and fantastic blocking by the Falcon Offensive Line. #10 Mike Phillips rushed for 103 yards on the night himself, with 46 of them coming on the first drive with a QB scramble down the home sideline to give the Falcons a 1st down on the Rowlett 15.
