Patsy Ruth Mills

Patsy Ruth Mills passed away peacefully on the morning of August 22, 2022 at home. She was born on November 3, 1929 in Forney to James Monroe and Oma Laura Tucker Jones, both of whom preceded her in death along with her husband Jack Mills, daughter Chris Tina Towner, grandson Daniel, her brothers JW Jones, and Tommy Jones.

Patsy was born and raised in Forney and attended Forney schools. She was an exquisite seamstress, very artistic and loved creating any type of arts and crafts. She was always very active in her children’s lives no matter what activity they were involved in and then, later, when her grandchildren came along she made sure to be their biggest supporter in all their events as well. ing every child’s personality and how to accommodate each one so they knew exactly how much they were loved and cherished. A true nurturer to her entire family and being the stable and dependable ‘matriarch’ was her goal. A sweet spirited woman who always showed the greatest amount of love to her family and friends, Patsy will be greatly missed.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children: Paulia Schupbach of Arlington, Scott Schupbach and his wife Janice of Easley, S.C. and Jamie Schupbach and wife Cheryl of Ft. Worth; grandchildren: Debra, Tracey, Cr ystal, Billy, Dana, Jennifer and Michael; great grandchildren: Mackensie, Hadley, Emersyn, Zachary, Tiffany, Wyatt, Rhett, Kaylee and Kaiden, as well as other relatives, extended family and friends.

Funeral service was held 2:00 pm Saturday August 27, 2022 at Max Slayton Funerals and Cremations, interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney.
