Val Jean Seabolt was a loved wife, mother, Mammaw, daughter, and sister. She passed away October 6, 2020.
Val Jean was born May 21, 1932. She graduated with her nursing degree from Baylor Medical School. She was a LVN at Baylor Hospital of Dallas.
Val Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Everett Seabolt, her mother, Cordia Elizabeth Kent, her father Roy Handley Kent, her brother, Roy Handley Kent II, her sister, Frankie Etoile Ridenour, and son-in-law, Charles Bruce Benedict.
Val Jean is survived by her daughters, Valerie Seabolt Knabe and Charlsie Ann Benedict. She is also survived by her grand children, Britney Ann Tarno and husband Ben Tarno, Damon Knabe and wife Lauren Knabe, Charles Colton Benedict and wife Meagan Benedict, Makayla Ann Benedict, and Dakota Ann Benedict. Val Jean was also blessed with three Great Granddaughters, Hallie Jo Tarno, Charlotte LeeAnn Benedict, and Molly Mae Benedict. She was also survived by her sister Betty Wilson and her husband Lynn Wilson. She had numerous nieces and nephews that she always considered her “bonus kids”.
Val Jean will be greatly missed. We are celebrating her life on May 22, 2022 at Heath Cemetery in Heath, Texas at 2:00 p.m.
