Eric Lee Davis

Eric Lee Davis was born in Midland, Texas, on December 15, 1969, to Martha and Richard Davis. He passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 52 surrounded by his loved ones in Dallas, Texas.

He graduated from Texas Tech University in December of 1993 with a Bachelors in Science and a Degree in Civil Engineering. Eric started Eric L. Davis Engineering in the year 2000. Since then, he had successfully opened 5 offices in a number of states.

Eric was a hardworking man who believed in helping others. He enjoyed spending time on their family ranch taking care of the cattle and bucking bulls. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He has, and will continue to impact the lives of many.

Eric met the love of his life, Christy, at a mutual friend’s high school graduation party in 1989. In August of 1992 Eric and Christy expressed their love by saying I do. This August they would have been married for 30 years. Together they have three children, all daughters, Katelyn, Kari, and Katherine. His family was the most important part of his life and everything he did was for them.

Eric is survived by his wife, Christy Davis; his children, Katelyn Davis, Kari Davis, and Katherine Davis; his grandson Henry Turner; and his brother Stacy Davis. He is predeceased by his parents Martha and Richard Davis.

The memorial service was held on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 11am at Lakepointe Church. A Celebration of Eric’s Life and Legacy was held later.
