The meaning of temptations is clearly spelled out in the Bible. All a person has to do is look in the Holy Bible for temptations Christians face if they really want to live Christian lives since the Bible clearly tells a person how to be saved and live a Christian life. Living a Christian life is not easy but when a person is “born again” they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit who is a lifetime guide. An old saying is when we reach the end of our rope we find that GOD lives there.
Temptations started in the Garden of Eden. The devil came to the weakest place to tempt Adam and Eve. He started with Eve and let her tempt Adam to sin against GOD. Nothing has changed. The devil still comes in at our weakest point to start tempting us. We can prove that because when we start to do anything for GOD the devil will try to hinder or stop what we are doing.
One of the worst mistakes we can make as a Christian is to start thinking we are strong enough to handle our own problems. I have done that more times than I can count but it has never worked. I wonder why I keep doing that.
BOTTOM LINE: I think that if we just check in each morning, GOD can take care of the day we have in front of us………AMEN
