When I think about GOD creating all things out of nothing my mind is not able to understand that. I do know He did because we have the proof when Jesus fed over five thousand men plus their wives and children with two loaves of bread and a few small fishes. He did not have any materials at hand to make all that food. He just blessed what he had and multiplied it to feed those people. That tells us that we can never understand GOD’S power. If GOD did not love us like He does no one on earth could survive.
When Christ came and took the earthly name of Jesus He became the only road or path to Heaven. Jesus is His earthly name and Christ is His Heavenly name. He has one hand on earth and one hand in heaven. It is a straight and narrow road to Heaven. GOD made the road narrow, uphill with some troubles along the way. Those are for our training to be more like Jesus.
A soldier on the battle field was wounded and about to die. He called his sergeant and told him he knew he was about to go out into eternity and did not know the Lord and was not prepared to meet Him. The sergeant said the only scripture he knew was what his mother taught him when he was a child. The scripture was John 3:16. When the sergeant quoted that scripture the soldier accepted Jesus as his savior and died soon after.
BOTTOM LINE: That story reveals how easy it is to accept Jesus as our personal Savior………..AMEN
