The Texas Dance Educators Association (TDEA) of Texas recently held a convention in Houston, Texas and announced high school dance students that were selected to the TDEA All-State performance. One of the dancers selected was North Forney High School dance student Alexis Thompson.
The TDEA All-State performance is a special performance that is held at the TDEA Conference each year. A total of 240 students from around the state were submitted for this special performance. Those select-ed spent two days learning choreography with a special, well-known Texas choreographer and performed their All-State performance for all conference attendees on Saturday, as a conclusion to the conference.
Ms. Thompson worked very hard to prepare for the TDEA All-State Dance performance. The performance displayed her skills, commitment, and professionalism.
Ms. Thompson receives her dance training from Rebecca Butler, the North Forney High School Dance Instructor.
