When something goes wrong in our daily activities we always know that someone else is to blame. We just don’t make mistakes like that. Down through the ages we have never learned to take the blame for our own actions when they are wrong or bad. That may be the one thing that keeps people from admitting their sins and accepting the forgiveness GOD has to offer. I believe the whole world is “called” like Jesus said when He said that many are called but few are chosen. I believe the people who are willing to admit their sins are the chosen ones.
Sin and guilt are ugly words and we always point our finger at someone else when our sin is revealed to others. I think that is one of the most powerful temptations the devil has to use on us. He may whisper to us that GOD will overlook our “little” naughty things that are often cute or funny. After all we are only human and are made that way. I cannot see how Jesus Christ looked at the people of earth and every single one was sinful, yet He was willing to die such a painful death to save some of them. That much love is far past my understanding.
BOTTOM LINE: It is very hard to resist the devil’s temptations he throws at us but we have a powerful GOD that loves us enough to pay the price for our sins and wipe our souls clean, then move in and put a seal around it. Praise Jesus Christ and His forgiveness He gives us………..AMEN
