Christmastime is here! This Saturday, December 4, the holiday season kicks off with two local holiday events. Families have two opportunities to come out and enjoy a free day of fun, one in downtown Forney and one in downtown Crandall.
The City of Forney’s Christmas on Main returns to Main Street in Forney this year. From noon to 6pm, this free family event will feature music, shopping, food, crafts, and pictures with Santa himself! Come stroll Forney’s historic downtown this Saturday to enjoy the festivities and support local businesses as you continue your holiday shopping.
Crandall’s Hometown Christmas will also be held on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am, ending at 3pm. The 16th Annual Christmas Festival and Parade will include a Christmas Spirit float contest for the parade, which begins at 10:00am. Visitors to this free event will find train rides, food vendors, crafts, photos with Santa, and much more.
