THE SOURCE OF LIFE

In reading and studying the Holy Bible we get quite a bit of information about the creation. I don’t believe GOD objects to us learning all we can about that subject. In Ecclesiasts 12: 7 we find the information about what happens to the physical bodies when they die. It simply says that when a body dies the Spirit goes back to GOD who gave it. I believe that means all physical bodies in existence. I think that means when GOD created any life form He gave it life from His life storehouse. That means that humans have that spark of life tending to the care of our bodies. The Spirit taking care of our bodies is different from the indwelling Holy Spirit Christians receive when they are saved by Jesus Christ. When our bodies die that Spirit goes back to GOD but the soul is free from the body and has no way to move around. That means the soul of the saved must be “carried” by the Angels into Heaven and the unsaved will simply fall into hell fire.

In studying about people who are already in paradise they move about. They can talk, see, hear, and know each other. That means that on the way to paradise they receive temporary bodies for their souls to move about. The lost must also receive a temporary body on the way to hell. Luke 19: 16-31 tells us that when the rich man died and lifted up his eyes in hell he could see, hear, feel pain, and didn’t want his brothers to come where he was so he also received a temporary body on the way to hell.
