After a highly successful restart in September for live and in-person performances, the E! Terrell Entertainment Series is bringing Jason Petty to the Jamie Foxx Performing Art Center at 7:30 pm on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Hailed by critics as one of the best Hank Williams impersonators on the scene today, Petty will showcase his hit show, Hank & My Honky Tonk Heroes in E! Terrell’s second performance for its 2021-2022 season of community concerts.
Jason Petty is no stranger to the country music stage. Beginning his career at Opryland USA Theme Park, fifty miles from the farm where he grew up, Petty’s career evolved over the years to include live performances at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium and Broadway’s Little Shubert Theatre. His spot-on renditions of popular Williams favorites earned positive reviews in respected entertainment industry publications such as Rolling Stone, Variety, and the New York Times.
In addition to authentic Williams musical stylings, Petty brings an insightful story of Hank Williams’s career to life by sharing a personal look at Williams’ upbringing, his road to fame, his influences and the performers of today who were influenced by him.
As an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501©3 organization, E! Terrell is committed to widening cultural entertainment horizons for those residing in the Terrell and Northeast Texas area. Thanks to the generosity of numerous Patrons and Sponsors, these concerts can be offered at family friendly prices. For ticket information, call 972-563-5703, or visit the E!
