TXU Energy Presents Forney ISD with $22,000 Rebate Check

TXU Energy presented Forney ISD with a rebate of $22,000 from their TXU Greenback Program. The TXU GreenBack Program provides rebates to businesses for making energyefficiency improvements to their facilities that yield long-term savings. The program can help a business fund new projects or help pay for existing projects, like changing to LED lighting. John Chase, the Forney ISD Chief Financial Officer, (center right), and Forney ISD Board of Trustee President Greg Pharris (left) and Forney ISD Superintendent Dr. Justin Terry (right), accepted the rebate from TXU at the board’s regular monthly board meeting on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
