Gloria Fay (Allred) Eacret, 87 of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2021 at Highlands of Bella Vista. She was born on July 12, 1934 to Sam and Lela (Palmer) Allred, in their home near Clarksville, Arkansas. She was raised in Fort Smith. She worked as a secretary to the principal of Forney High School in Forney, Texas. Later, she started her own business, The Calico Goose, in the historic district of downtown Van Buren, selling handmade crafts.
Gloria is preceded in death by her husband, Jimm Eacret and son, Sammy Lloyd Eacret; her parents; and her brother, Bill Allred.
Gloria is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Eacret) Sanders and her husband Scott, of Bella Vista; two sisters, Geneva Arnold of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Peggy Williams of Farmington, Arkansas; two grandsons, Trey Clemens of Richardson, Texas and Chas Eacret of Greenville, Texas; two step-granddaughters, Angie Wade of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Dena Guinn of Fort Smith, Arkansas, five great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Services are private, arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. Interment will be at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Trey Clemens, Scott Sanders, Robert and Bruce Arnold, Keith and Nathan Benish; Junior Pallbearers will be Jack and Kai Clemens; Honorary Pallbearer will be Chas Eacret.
