The moment a person accepts Jesus Christ as their personal savior He gives them the Holy Spirit and keeps them in His hand for eternity. Jesus said no one could take them out of His hand. Although all Christians sin against GOD sometimes they are still in the hand of Jesus.
The Devil’s power was broken and taken away when Jesus died on the Cross. The only power Satan has now is tempting people through the weakness of the flesh. The battle between GOD and Satan is fought in our minds. He will always tempt people at their weakness point. Christians grow in the faith through trials and troubles. GOD does not take away our troubles but He will always help us through them. I believe GOD is pleased when we come through a trial and remain faithful to Him.
We should never underestimate the determination of Satan to draw us away from serving GOD. The good news is although he can attack our weakest point and drive us back to the time we were saved, he cannot go past that. That is the most wonderful part of being saved and serving GOD.
Before Adam sinned he walked with GOD in person in the Garden. Today walking with GOD is in the Spirit. Since we have sinful bodies (flesh), we can only have fellowship with GOD in the Spirit we were given at the point of salvation. When we do walk with GOD in the Spirit the joy is unspeakable and perfect.
BOTTOM LINE: We can always renew our fellowship with GOD by praying, reading our bibles, and going to Church to worship GOD and renew our Spirit….AMEN
