Based on the Bible account the earth that can sustain life is between 6000 and 7000 years old. The Bible says that the earth was without form and void before life was placed on it. Before Adam sinned death did not exist on the earth. If life forms lived and died before that then the Bible account is not true. The Bible record goes back to the creation of Adam, the first man. Since that is the record we Christians believe how can we agree with the evolution taught in schools and colleges?
Over the centuries humans have believed many things that later are proved to be untrue. For instance people once believed that the world was flat. That may have been taught in schools. But Columbus stood on the pier and watched the ships come in. He began to notice that he always saw the top of the ships first. That led to the belief that the world was round. He finally got the ships and money to prove it.
When GOD was creating everything He told us the time by saying the morning and evening was the first day. That means one rotation of the earth. GOD spoke the creation into existence. I don’t think it took Him millions of years to speak.
BOTTOM LINE: Well now that I have everyone confused and wondering what to believe I had better shut up and say goodbye………….. AMEN
