If you can find one word in the original translation of the Holy Bible, that does not fit or does not belong there, then you can find two, or ten, or one hundred, or one thousand. If you claim that, then soon you can pick out the words that will make you feel good and discard the rest.
The Bible was written by several authors and inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is so written that a lost person can understand enough of it to be saved, but all the rest was written for true Christians to learn how to live Christian lives. I should explain further that the Church and its members cannot just throw the Bible out to the world and say, read it yourself. The Gospel must be “taken” to the world and explained by Christians under the direction of the Holy Spirit. If a Christian can remember the condition they were in before they were saved it helps to understand the condition of the world without GOD. There is one other thought about witnessing to lost people. Lost people cannot understand about salvation or repenting of their sins. The witness may be well learned in the scriptures but only the Holy Spirit can convict a person of their sins which means the witness must remove themselves and let GOD do the talking.
BOTTOM LINE: Even in America the freedom to witness to the world may be gone someday. I think we should try to grow closer to GOD and start carrying out the work He has left us here to do…AMEN
