I have just listened to a song named “HE LOOKED BEYOND MY FAULTS AND SAW MY NEEDS”. When I started thinking about the message of that song a little tear tried to get out but I squeezed hard enough to keep it inside.
Only Jesus Himself is able to love humans like that. The question is why would He go through what He did to save a person like me? It must be the love He has for all mankind. We could think about that all our lives and would never know or understand. Our love for our wives of husbands is from the human heart and is called EROS. The love GOD has for us is called AGAPE. When Jesus asked Peter three times if he loved Him more than the fish, the first two times Peter answered he used the word EROS. The third time Peter used the word AGAPE which means GODLY love.
The talent to write and play music plus the talent to sing the songs is a great gift given to mankind. There is something about music which lifts our Spirit and soul. Music is used to prepare Christians for a worship service. Many people get into the song service with their whole heart. What a blessing it is to hear and sing gospel songs.
BOTTOM LINE: Music may not be the greatest gift GOD has given us, but it is surely close to the top.
