JAC Management Group and JAC Live are thrilled to start rolling out their 2021 event programming for Spellman Amphitheater in Forney, TX. The nationally known event-producing company, JAC Management Group, entered into a contract with the City of Forney in early 2020, but plans came to an unfortunate halt in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. As vaccines have begun to roll out across the country, local businesses and events are resuming normal programming, and community members are searching for more ways to safely return to their prepandemic social lives, JAC is once again dedicating its efforts toward putting Forney on the map by hosting a variety of concerts and events at the outdoor amphitheater in Forney Community Park.
“We were very excited to touch down in Forney last summer and are even more so now that we are able to host our first events at Spellman Amphitheater,” states Ken Bigley, Vice President of JAC Management Group and JAC Live. “We have worked to put together an event schedule that will cover multiple genres and that will give every member of this community something to come enjoy with us this season.”
Residents can expect to see a blend of nationally acclaimed artists and community events alike at the Spellman Amphitheater. Upcoming events will be kicked off with The Marshall Tucker Band on June 19, followed by Trace Adkins, who was originally scheduled to be the premier artist for the venue in 2020, in late July. In August, Classic Albumns Live is scheduled to take the stage performing Fleetwood Mac’s Rumors. Then “untold stories from the cast of Tiger King” will be presented in Uncaged in September 2021.
With the outdoor air naturally providing safety from COVID concerns, Forney’s open-air amphitheater is surrounded by trees and tucked away within the city’s acclaimed community park. This charming venue provides eventgoers the opportunity to enjoy nights of live music and entertainment under the stars. One of only a handful of amphitheaters this side of Dallas, this unique venue is unmatched by any other in the area.
More than a beautiful setting and exciting entertainment, though, JAC is thrilled to play a part in bringing the Forney community back together safely and comfortably outdoors. “The best part of what we do is witnessing communities coming together, and after the past year we have all been through, we hope Forney is as excited to do that as we are,” says Bigley.
