Laymen’s Corner

Christians may face some hard tests in the near future. None of us have been tested to the point of pain or loss of all we have. I believe GOD knows what He has to do to prepare His people for the things that must come before the end comes and the rapture of the Church. It does not matter what comes, Christians will need faith to stand all tests and glorify our God. I have already seen signs that people are turning against the Church and wish all the Churches would close. Some say that the Devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ and GOD is preparing Christians for the rapture.

I cannot see any changes that should be made in our Churches. We should first preach the pure gospel. Jesus said that many are called but few are chosen. One reason for that is a few will believe and accept the gospel and repent of their sins. Many will want to wait until later. Many will wait until they get their lives cleaned up so God will accept them. Some will think they are too bad to be saved. That is so sad that millions of people (some good) will go into the fire by making excuses to reject the gospel.

I think as Christians we should let our light shine before the world. We should continue to attend Church. We should serve GOD by serving people. People see us when we serve GOD. We may not think so, but they know what we are doing when we serve GOD by serving people.

BOTTOM LINE: It seems that we all want to go to Heaven, but no one wants to be on that first load. Let’s pray for our Pastors and his Staff. Pray for each other that we will serve GOD the way He would have us to……..AMEN
