Sue Adams passed away on January 29, 2021 at her residence in Rowlett, Texas at the age of 91. She was born February 15, 1929 in Franklin, Texas to Dr. Andrew Jackson Sharp and Katie Henderson Sharp.
At the start of her working career she worked at Texas Instruments and then joined the United States Postal Service in Forney as a Rural Mail Carrier where she retired after 20 years of service.
Family and friends were the most important things in her life, next to her Christian faith which she held deeply in her heart. She also enjoyed the company of her pets and maintaining the legacy of “The Goose on the Porch”.
Sue is survived by her daughters Cathie Dagley, Mary Whitehurst and husband Bill, Jerra Herrin and husband James, 6 grandchildren, Ryan Pinson, Jay Pinson, Paul Dagley and wife Paula, Robert Dagley and wife Rosandra, Margaret Scolaro and husband Phil and William Whitehurst and wife Kalese, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dr. Joseph Sharp and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family takes great comfort in knowing that she is now in Heaven with her Lord and Savior.
A visitation and funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church in Forney on February 3, 2021. Following the service, a graveside service was held in the Crandall Cemetery.

The family would like to thank all of you that contributed to the birthday card initiative. While we didn’t quite reach our goal of 92 cards, Sue enjoyed the sweet and thoughtful wishes. She felt very much loved. Thank you again!
