Do we ever say “thank you” enough? It’s easy to remember to do so when someone has just done something you directly asked them to do for you whether it is to bring something to you or opening a door. But what about people that are more anonymous in your life? The cashier at the cafeteria, the janitor that is always cleaning, the door greeter at a business--these are people who can sometimes fade in the background of your day. But these are the exact people who make many moments in your day run smoother just by doing their respective jobs. And if you are ever in need of their services, you then remember who they are.

Sometimes we forget all of the others in a school that make the students’ learning process go smoothly. At least we did until March of 2020 when Spring Break was extended one week and then school doors didn’t open again until the Fall semester. Parents had to step up and into all the roles that occur in a typical school day. And because of the educational professionals that work in Forney ISD at the school and administrative levels, virtual learning was created seemingly overnight and breakfast and lunch distribution thanks to the Food Department in FISD wasn’t interrupted for those students who needed it.

Forney Education Foundation knows how important all of these people are in the education process of the students in Forney ISD.

They make donations through the payroll deduction system just like teachers and administrators because they, too, know what the contributions that go to FEF can do to enhance and elevate the school process for students.

Won’t you help us say “Thank You” to the these para-professionals by contributing to Forney Education Foundation today? There really isn’t any amount that is too small since FEF is very good at combining many small donations into larger amounts that can then do even bigger things for the students in Forney ISD.
