This is the first day of the rest of our lives. We cannot change anything in our past at all. We can learn from the mistakes, and remember and use the good to an advantage. What we have learned from the past, good or bad is the best teacher we will ever have. That teacher’s name is wisdom. That does not mean that we are wise old gurus. People gain wisdom by just living. We can see our mistakes and our good points too. We are free to choose which one we will follow from this day forward. I have learned where some of my weak points are and it is up to me to stay away from them. I have learned where some of my good points are and it is up to me to make use of that knowledge.
Jesus told us plainly that He is the only way into Heaven. If we believe that, it makes good sense to follow Him and watch everything else fall into place. Following after Jesus with our whole heart will give us the strength to face whatever comes our way. We are experiencing some bad times now, and it does not seem to be getting any better. I believe GOD would have us to have faith and rely on Him to get us through the troubles. I know that because if GOD had not protected me from the dangers of the world I would be dead and gone by now.
BOTTOM LINE: Spiritually the darker it gets the brighter GOD’S footsteps shines. It is easy to see every step He has made..AMEN
