Statistics posted in DMN: There have been at least 141 football games cancelled or postponed in the Dallas area for COVID 19 reasons, and 30 involved a school from Dallas ISD. 24 of those 30 games were cancelled by a DISD school. By comparison, Frisco ISD’s 10 high schools had a combined 8 games cancelled, and 3 were by a Frisco school!

DISD—providing “voluntary rapid” COVID-19 tests to all athletes in their high schools, but a parent’s permission is required. Hopes to make the testing available to all students and staff in the District.

And, I stayed up to hear it on the late sports news: Leading 32—10 early in the 4th quarter, the North Forney Falcons (0-7-18-7—32) held off a late Denison (3- 0-7-15—25) come-back to move on in the play-offs. The winning “moments” came when the Falcons stopped the Dennison Yellowjackets on 4 straight rushing plays as they were moving towards a tying or winning score.
