St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church is hosting the CCD Mobile Community Pantry again this Saturday, December 5. This mobile food pantry will be held in the St. Martin parking lot at the corner of Interstate 20 and FM 1641 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
Eligible recipients include any local families who currently receive government benefits, who fall under the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or who are facing a temporary crisis or homelessness. Each family attending will receive fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, and other food items.
This service is one of many ways Catholic Charities of Dallas, including St. Martin of Tours of Forney, strives to assist those in need in the Forney area. These Catholic Charities food services are made available in conjunction with the North Texas Food Bank.
