GOD’S BOOK OF LIFE AND THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE
Body

GOD’S Book of Life contains the name of every person who is born on the earth from the first day until the last day. The indication is that when a person dies without being “saved by the blood of the lamb” their name is blotted out of the book of life. This should not be strange to people because Jesus spoke of blotting names out of the book of life. What He said was that if a person will accept Him as their personal savior He will not blot their name from the book of life. That is often confused with the statement Jesus made about blotting names out of the book of life.

The Lamb’s Book of Life contains all the names of the people who accept Him as their Savior. Jesus does not blot any name out of the Lamb’s Book of life because when a person is “saved” Jesus has bought that soul and puts a seal around it to show that He will not lose it. That means that Jesus has to give forgiveness to that person for life. Since we still live in the human flesh we will often sin against Him. We should get it firm in our minds that Jesus is able to keep His saints to the end of the world and beyond.

BOTTOM LINE I just can’t believe that Jesus would save a person and throw them out the first time they sin against Him. All I have read and studied about GOD indicates that He does not think or act like we do.

NOTE: The names GOD gives may not be the same as the names we have.
