Dear Aunt B readers,

So week two is here. Before we start on the second key, let’s remember what we are doing here. This is a 3 key mini lesson on becoming more of what you want to be.

Last week we discussed key one, Gratitude.

Hands down the most needed skill to become more and get more of what you want. Did you start your gratitude practice? If not, no problem; start today. If yes, super, keep it up. Let your practice evolve and change naturally.

Key number two, Absolute Clarity.

What do you want and who do you want to become? Impossible to get to a specific place unless you know where you want to go. Imagine starting out on a trip, not knowing where you were going or how you were going to get there. You might have a good time but each and every stop along the way would be confusing and difficult. Now imagine you have a map. At every turn you would have the information you needed for the trip to be easy and your chance of making your destination would be greatly improved.

Do you know what you want and what you want to become?

Before you get overwhelmed, remember this is a lifelong process. You will change and mold this all your life. Settle in for a long trip. It is always changing. Enjoy this journey. I really think it is important to enjoy all the journeys we take. Take it easy, and don’t take yourself so seriously. I don’t mean this isn’t serious because it is, but relax into this journey. If you don’t enjoy the steps along the way, the ending (never going to be an ending) will never be as sweet.

Start to take an inventory. I like to get those cheap spiral notebooks because I go through a lot of them. Some of you might want something more fancy. Some people like to decorate the notebook, possibly with pictures or words of things you love.

Write down everything you want. If you got to live life 100% your way, what would you become and how would you live. Keep writing, write until you are all written out. This should be a long process and not completed in one setting. Leave plenty of space to add new ideas as they come to you.

When your brain starts telling you everything that is wrong with this process, remind yourself to relax.

How can you be so selfish? LIE

It is wrong to want things. LIE

You can’t have everything you want. MAYBE BUT STILL GOOD TO KNOW

I can’t have all this because I’m too old; I’m not old enough, I’m not worth it; and many more arguments against getting what you want. ALL LIES

Will you get it 100% your way? Probably not but you are not a baby. You can handle not getting it 100% your way. You still need to know what 100% your way looks like.

Stay tuned in for next week and the final key of your process.

Thanks for stepping up for yourself.

Love, Aunt B
