New opportunity allows four-year leader of CHS to have district-wide impact for 18,000 students

Crandall High School Principal Jeannia Dykman has been named Director of Special Education in Tyler ISD. The TISD school board approved Dykman for the new role, which will provide her the opportunity to reach students across the district, at its most recently regularly scheduled board meeting.
Ms. Dykman has served as principal at Crandall HS since 2016. She said the decision was difficult but she will take her memories and experiences with her as she moves to East Texas. Overall, she has served CISD for 19 years at both the elementary and secondary levels.
