Monday morning just before 11:00AM, a fatal accident occurred at the intersection of the eastbound Highway 80 service road and Gateway Boulevard, which claimed the lives of two women and left one man with non-life threatening injuries and criminal charges.
Witnesses recounted that the suspect’s vehicle sped through a stop sign, colliding with another vehicle passing through the intersection. The massive collision pushed the cars several yards down the roadway before the vehicles both became engulfed in flames. The driver and passenger of the car that was struck both sadly died at the scene and were later identified by police as Margarita Bottello, 56, and Yazmin Villagomez Martinez, 32, both of Kaufman, Texas.
