Alan Jackson is not sure he can tell them apart!
Body

Alan Jackson sang a hit song, “Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning?” (an after “911” anthem) In it, he sings, “I’m just a singer of simple songs./I’m not a real political man./I watch CNN, but I’m not sure I can tell/You the difference in Iraq and Iran.”

And, although most of us “studied” Texas and American and World histories in our secondary school classes, I am afraid many of us do not know many, if any, real similarities and differences either! So, I became a student once again in the classes of Coaches Gus Hernandez and Ed Johnson!

Iran and Iraq share a border that is between 900 and 1,000 miles long, but they have differing cultures and histories, maybe somewhat like the U. S. and Mexico.
