Finding Exotic Animals in Forney

There are many hidden spots in Forney. Recently, I found a place where a beautiful blue and green feathered peacock greeted me at the gate. A place where animals inspire and fun awaits, The Gentle Zoo quickly left a warm impression.

Just about ten years ago, this family start up became the growing home to all types of animals. Originally, The Gentle Zoo started out as a mobile attraction. The idea was to bring family fun to you while inspiring, rescuing and providing a home for animals. Just about 85% of the animals currently in the zoo are rescues.
