Just after the Church was formed GOD allowed Steven, a devout Christian man to be stoned to death because “Saul” (later named Paul), was standing there and consenting to his death. While Steven was being stoned he looked up to Heaven and said, “I see Jesus standing at the Father’s right hand.” That cut Saul to the heart and when he was on the road to Damascus he was suddenly blinded and knocked down to the ground.
