During the November 5 City Council Meeting, Mayor Mary Penn presented a check to the Forney Food Pantry for $842.34. The money was raised by Mayor Penn through a local charity softball tournament in late October. It was also announced that the Forney Food Pantry recently lost a substantial number of perishables due to a damaged cooler.
