Students at Forney High School gathered on the morning of Wednesday, September 25th to participate in “See You at the Pole”, an annual event where students gather around their campus’ flagpole to join in prayer. This tradition started in Burleson, Texas in 1990 when a small group of teenagers felt led to pray for their friends, classmates, teachers, and community. They drove to three different schools in their town, gathered around the flagpoles, and prayed. Since then, over one million students across the world, including countries like Canada, Japan, and Korea, participate in See You at the Pole each year on the fourth Wednesday of September.
