The student section was chanting “We are Forney”. You can sense the importance of this game. The fans know, the players and coaches know, just about everyone in Forney knows this might be the last Unity Bowl. The game was played at City Bank Stadium with Forney wearing white, being the away team, and North Forney wearing the black and blue, being the home team.
The game started off with the Jackrabbits kicking off to the Falcons. The first series started off slowly with North Forney driving the ball 19 yards then punting to Forney’s junior Zerek Waters for 13 yards. Forney’s drive ended quickly with an interception by Campbell Anderson.
