Heading into your first district game, particularly one against your cross-town rival, you would hope to be firing on all cylinders. If the first two, non-district, games are any indication, the North Forney Falcons are close. Through two games, the Falcons have scored 101 points (50.5 average), while giving up only 31 points. Eighteen of the 31 came in the fourth quarter of game one, against Frisco Heritage, when the game was well in hand, against mostly second and third teamers.
Last Friday night in Wylie, the Falcons held Wylie East to one score, a first quarter touchdown, on their way to a 56-7 thrashing of the Raiders. The Falcons rolled up over 700 yards of offense, nearly 500 of those on the ground, and scored in double figures in three of the four quarters. Quarterbacks Jacob Acuna and Zach Tucker combined to complete 13 of 19 passes and three touchdowns. The Falcons had three running backs with over 100 rushing yards: Jacob Soto (175 yards), LaMarcus Kirk (157 yards) and Ty Collins (107 yards). Two of those, Soto and Kirk, went over 150 yards. Kirk did it on just three carries.
Jeremiah Baker, #55. Riley Tracy, #70. Robert McKoy, #65. Jerome Collins, #52. Jake Schwartz, #76.
