It was the Jackrabbits’ home opener at City Bank Stadium Friday night when the Forney Jackrabbits met up with the Lindale Eagles on First Responders’ Night. The Jackrabbits were scoreless in all nine possessions of the game, ultimately losing to the Eagles 40-0 in a non-district game between the two Class 5a Division II programs.

The first quarter seemed like the game would become a defensive battle, but that changed when the Eagles got ahead due to a pair of interceptions thrown by Senior Quarterback Campbell Anderson in the second quarter. Both interceptions resulted in the Eagles scoring, which had them leading at halftime 19-0.
