On August 20, “Gertrude Armstrong Cake for All” was the order of the day at Three Forks Senior Living, as Ann Moreau and Vivian Themer served the cakes they had baked with tender loving care! Residents had been earlier warned that the cake (with or without pecans) was “on tap” so that they would not eat too much to be hungry for desert!
Bouquets of flowers that later were divided up and put into bud vases for individual tables at supper time provided color for the occasion, and balloons from each Child and Grandchild family announced the Special Day for Marian Themer, better known as GRANDMA.
